Parent Communication
Welcome to Mrs. Parrish’s 3rd Grade Class!
Dear Families,
My name is Mrs. Parrish and I am a 3rd grade teacher at Providence Elementary School. I graduated in May of 2019 from Tarleton State University. I am certified in Pre-K-6th grade as well as all-level special education with ESL.
Teaching has been my passion since I was in elementary school myself, as 3rd grade was my favorite year and made the biggest positive impact on my life. As a teacher, I recognize the unique opportunity I have to positively influence your children and empower them to be as successful as they allow themselves. I believe all of my students have untapped potential, and I strive to present them with appropriately challenging activities that engage them to best fit their needs as a learner.
I know this is going to be a great year with many exciting educational opportunities for your students. This year, we will be learning about the planets in our Solar System and are planning on visiting the Universe Hall at the Perot Museum in Dallas, Tx.
I am thrilled to meet your child and I know this year will be a great one. Every day your child is in my class, I will do my best to make them feel safe, loved, and be the best version of themselves possible. Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions or concerns about your student. Thank you for your support and I’m looking forward to a fantastic year!
Sincerely,
Mrs. Parrish
